Cedar Chests Keep Traditions Alive
What's more important than our personal treasures? Having the right kinds of boxes for storing them, of course. Throughout the ages, every society has placed great emphasis and value on boxes that were made from stone, wood, marble, gold, silver, copper, steel, porcelain, crystal, and many other materials.These boxes have been made in all sizes, from prayer boxes that were small enough to be worn as necklaces, to cedar chests and trunks that were large enough to be used for storing household goods. They have been carved, etched, engraved, inscribed, and decorated with beads, jewels, shells, pearls, and symbols of every description.
