Thoughts & Criticisms: I don't have any complaints against HostGator. I have been using their service for several months and have never had a problem. I am able to host multiple domains for one low price. The prior hosting company I used had a very different control panel set-up, so when I switched over to HostGator, the cPanel was a bit confusing. I now find it a breeze to navigate and I was amazed at the amount of features it comes with. In fact, there are over 50 scripts - everything from blogs to forums and more.

They also have a reseller option. I haven't explored this too much, but if you wanted to start your own hosting business you could. You would pay a monthly fee, starting at under $25 per month. They would provide you with all the business tools you would need, including billing services. You can create your own plans and set your own prices. You can keep 100% of the money you make. You are only obligated to pay HostGator your monthly fee.
